RFID Newborn Baby Tracking System is an innovative solution designed to improve the safety of newborns in hospitals and healthcare organizations. It uses Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology to track and trace the location of newborn babies in real time.
The RFID Newborn Baby Tracking System streamlines various hospital processes as well as improving safety. It automates the documentation of baby movements, eliminating the need for manual record keeping. This increases efficiency and reduces the possibility of errors, ultimately leading to better patient care.
Teknopalas Active RFID Tags
It is produced in accordance with standards from materials that are not harmful to the baby and is worn on the newborn’s ankle before leaving the delivery room.
The baby’s RFID tag is matched after birth with the Active RFID Tags attached to the mother’s wrist. From that moment on, major risks such as multiple babies born in the same environment being confused with each other and delivered to the wrong families are prevented.
The positions of the baby and the mother in the hospital are monitored instantly. As soon as the baby is separated from the mother, the alarm system is activated. The baby is allowed to be taken to any part of the hospital with certain personnel. These permissions are matched with Teknopalas RFID cards in the personnel and recorded in the system. If the baby goes to another department, the system gives an alarm.
The alarm is also activated if the wristband is removed.
With the special Teknopalas Active Readers placed at all points where the baby can be taken out of the hospital, it activates the security systems by working integrated with the existing security systems of the hospital in possible bad scenarios and all passages are closed and the location of the baby is instantly transmitted to the security personnel. With Teknopalas Hospital systems, baby abductions are also significantly prevented.
